Bay Crossing Family Medicine participates with a limited number of commercial insurance plans.  Payment for your visit is due at the time of service.  Direct payment of reasonable fees ensures you receive the highest quality of care. 

There are many advantages to not billing insurance.  The physicians are able to focus their attention on you, and to dedicate a significant amount of time getting to know you as a person, rather than coordinating with your insurance company to obtain necessary services.   By paying for medical services directly, you are paying for what you value (medical advice and treatment) rather than the layers of bureaucracy that have come to impede excellent care.  Paying directly for your health care also promotes better health, and encourages you to take an active role in maintaining your good health. 

We encourage you to call your insurance carrier and inquire about your out-of-network benefits before scheduling an appointment.  We find that many of our patients are reimbursed at 60-85% of office visit charges.  We are happy to assist you in completing insurance claims for reimbursement.
