Dr. Ramona Seidel was born and raised in New Jersey where she returned for medical school after obtaining her undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. She moved to sunny San Diego, California, to complete residency training in Family Medicine. It was while living on the west coast that she met her husband. After the birth of their second child, the U.S. Navy moved the family back east where they settled in the beautiful Annapolis area.
She now lives in Maryland with her husband, three children, and one dog named Buddy.Dr. Seidel has a special interest in cross-cultural medicine, child and adolescent medicine, and weight management issues.
In those rare moments of “free” time, she enjoys sailing, skiing, and photography, and recently found a new hobby: ballet.

My practice was chosen to take place in a 2 year study looking at the Future of Family Medicine through an organization known as TransforMed. This project looks to improve access to health care, make it safer, more effective, and more responsive to patient's needs. The project relies on modern technological tools to implement the goals of the project. As a part of this project we will use this web site to interact with our patients.
